Ted's Montana Grill
I was invited out to Ted's Montana Grill last week for dinner. I have been there once before but it has been a while. My husband has never been there so he was really looking forward to it. Ted's is known for their Bison burgers, so of course we had to try them out.
Before the food comes out, they bring you these complimentary cucumber/pickle thingies. I am not a huge fan of pickles, but these tasted more of cucumbers and were sweet.
I got the Green and Hot, which has Pepper jack, grilled jalapeño, guacamole, and chipotle ranch. It had a little bit of a kick too it, but it wasn't too hot for me. I loved the guacamole on there. For some reason that hasn't caught on here yet, but it needs to! The chipotle ranch was also very good. I am a very big ranch fan, so this was a big bonus! I got my burger on their wheat bun, and let me tell you that bun was extremely tasty! The burger came with fries and I ordered a side of ranch to go with them (naturally). I was very impressed with the fries. I love handcut fries so I was very happy to see them on the plate.
My husband got the Avalon, which had Gruyère, Blue Cheese, bacon caramelized onions, roasted garlic aioli, and baby arugula. This burger was recommended by our waitress (who was fabulous by the way!) as her favorite burger on the menu. Ivan was very happy with the menu and was raving about how good it was. This was his first time eating Bison and I'm happy to report that he approves!
Verdict: Liked it!
I have had many people recommend Ted's to me. I will admit that I was a little reluctant to go in the past since it is a chain, but I like to mix it up and now and then. We really enjoyed the food and thought they had a nice selection on their menu. Plus, the service was great!
