Jacksonville Sharks!
Exciting news! I will be working with the Jacksonville Sharks to serve as one of their bloggers! I was really excited about this opportunity since I am a huge Sharks fan already! If you have never been to a game, you are really missing out. In addition to watching an exciting arena football game, the games are one huge party with all kinds of competitions and giveaways.
The are offering some awesome ticket discounts right now, like 2 for $99 season tickets, and BOGO tickets throughout the season (see theme nights below for more info.)
Another awesome thing about the games, each night has a theme. This is one of my favorite things about the games, it is a chance to dress up and act crazy! Here is a summary of all of the upcoming theme nights and an overall schedule:
Theme: Redneck Night – Cutoff shirts and jean shorts are in style as we open the season against the team from Mickey Mouse town.
April 23 vs. Arizona Rattlers
Theme: British Invasion – Enjoy a smashing evening filled with the sights and sounds of the legendary British Rock Era.
Special Event: Performance from the Beatlemaniax.
May 21 vs. Portland Thunder
Theme: Military Appreciation – Join us as we honor our men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces. The Sharks reserve this night to generate donations for the Veterans Tickets via Jersey auction and military themed merchandise.
Ticket Promotion: Buy One, Get One Free tickets for military personnel – both active and retired – and their families with the presentation of a valid military ID.
June 4 vs. Philadelphia Soul
Theme: Superhero Night - Dress up as your favorite superhero (or villain) as we battle for home field supremacy. We will also recognize all teachers, administrators and school employees in light of Education Appreciation.
Ticket Promotion: Buy one, get one free tickets for school employees.
Free child's ticket (12 and under) with purchase of paying adult. (Maximum two free kids tickets per one paying adult.)
June 18 vs. Orlando Predators
Theme: Halloween in June – Come dressed in your favorite costume. Our friends at The Scream Park will have plenty of spooky surprises in store.
June 25 vs. Cleveland Gladiators
Theme: Star Wars Night – A popular theme returns as we celebrate the iconic movie franchise. The first 1,000 kids in attendance (12 and under) will receive their very own Jedi Lightsaber
Special Event: Jacksonville Sharks Youth Football Camp. For more information, visit our youth football camp page under our community tab.
July 23 vs. Los Angeles KISS
Theme: Christmas in July – Get in the holiday spirit with a Santa suit or elf costume as we deck the halls in the middle of summer.
Special Event: Performance from the Junior Attack Dance Team.
July 31 vs. Tampa Bay Storm
Theme: 70's/Disco Night – Bringing back bell bottoms, paisley print and platform shoes, come celebrate with us as we moove and groove to the rythm of the beat. The first 1,000 kids in attendance (12 and under) will receive retro tin lunchboxes!
Special Event: Halftime performance from the Boogie Freaks.
