PDQ's 5 Year B-Day Celebration

PDQ is turning 5 and you are getting the presents! This weekend, visit any PDQ to join in on the celebration and win prizes. Hundreds of prizes will be given out each day, so you have lots of chances to win! The birthday celebration will take place on October 29th & 30th, so make sure to stop in!

I was invited out last week to taste their newest menu item, the Honey Butter Sandwich. This sandwich will come in a bag to help keep it hot and melt the butter. In addition to the honey butter, the sandwich also comes with bread and butter pickles. I am not a fan of pickles, but I really liked these. They really added value to the sandwich and I can't imagine it without them. The chicken was very juicy and the breading was light and crispy.

We were also treated to a basket of tenders with fries. I will go on record and say that PDQ has some of the best tenders I have tasted. I love the light breading and the chicken is always fresh and juicy. Plus, they're dipping sauces are wonderful. They have such a great assortment of flavors. 

I also would like to mention that they have once again revamped their fries. In order to maintain consistency, they now cut all fries offsite then cook them in store. This ensures that all fries are created equal and really cuts down on the amount of soggy fries that are served, which can sometimes be a problem with hand cut fries.
